Please arrive with court shoes and water (court shoes and water are also available for purchase on-site). You're free to use one of our many demo paddles during the clinic. 

What is Liveball?

Live Ball is a fun, fast-paced doubles format game with no serves or returns with instructor feeding balls. The goal of the game is to make it to the champion side of the court and defend challenges from attackers. This format is great for players of all levels because it helps accelerate the learning process.. It is a win/win situation for all levels. This unparalleled action packed pickleball workout will have you running, sweating, and smiling within minutes. 

Intermediate Level: 3.0 - 3.5 You can generally hit forehand drives, serves, and returns with medium pace, as well as dinks, but generally lack consistency and control (for instance, serves and returns are not consistent and lack depth); and (ii) you understand the basic strategy and rules of pickleball.

CANCELLATION POLICY

48 hours prior to reservation will receive club credits that can be applied towards a future booking. Cancellations made 48 hours before will result in a total loss. The Santa Monica Pickleball Center will determine rainouts 1-2 hours prior to reservation start time based on weather forecasts and our court drying machine. Rainouts will receive club credits only. All event cancellations require a 7 day written notice for a 50% refund.

PARKING

We have parking behind the building on 25th Street - please feel free to park in any spot marked for the Santa Monica Tennis Center. If those spots are taken, there are additional spots one row behind, feel free to park in any spaces that are unmarked or read 'Infuse Creative' or 'Active Barbershop' -- no longer in business. 

CHECK-IN

The entrance to the courts is through the store entrance on Wilshire - just check in at the front desk and they'll let you know what court you're on. We have a restroom on-site located to the right of the fridge.

Everyone who is there for the first time who didn't make the reservation will be asked to sign a quick waiver on-site. 

WHAT TO BRING

Please make sure to arrive with court shoes or NON-MARKING SOLES and water, otherwise we have water, gatorade and protein bars available for purchase. 

Demo paddles are included for free during any clinics and lessons. Otherwise, paddles can be rented for a 48 hour time period for $5 each.

REMINDERS

Out of courtesy to other players, players are not permitted to enter the courts until the designated start time.
